What is Relevant Life Church?

We’re a Spirit-filled, Pentecostal church proudly affiliated with the Assemblies of God. But more than a denomination, we’re a family committed to living out our mission.

Our Mission

We exist to find people for Christ through intentional evangelism, incorporate them into the church membership to develop commitment for spiritual growth, nurture them through equipping to serve, and finally deploy them in their respective callings according to their spiritual gifts, so that the gospel of Christ will be preached and the kingdom of God will be advanced everywhere God is leading us.

Our Vision

To be thriving, high-impact, life-transforming Pentecostal church where God has planted us — and will continue to plant us until the Second Coming of Christ — locally and abroad, by developing leaders of leaders through intentional discipleship, who can advance the kingdom of God in the contemporary world.

What We Believe (16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God)

As an Assemblies of God affiliated church, we hold to these 16 core doctrines:

  1. The Scriptures Inspired - The Bible is God’s infalliable Word, our ultimate authority. (2 Tim. 3:15-17)

  2. The One True God - Eternal, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19

  3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ - Fully God, fully man, our Savior. (John 1:1-14)

  4. The Fall of Man - Humanity is sinful and in need of redemption. (Gen. 3, Rom. 5:12-19)

  5. The Salvation of Man - Only through repentance and faith in Christ. (Acts 4:12, Eph. 2:8-9)

  6. The Ordinances of the Church - Water baptism & Communion. (Matt. 28:19, 1 Cor. 11:23-26)

  7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit - Empowering believers for life and witness. (Acts 1:8, 2:4)

  8. The Initial Physical Evidence of Spirit Baptism - Speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46)

  9. Sanctification - A life set apart for God’s purpose (1 Thess. 5:23, Heb. 12:14)

  10. The Church & Its Mission - To worship, evangelize, and disciple. (Matt. 28:19-20, Eph. 4:11-16)

  11. The Ministry - Leadership gifts to equip the church. (Eph. 4:11-12, 1 Cor. 12:28)

  12. Divine Healing - God’s power to heal today. (James 5:14-16, Isa. 53:4-5)

  13. The Blessed Hope - The imminent return of Christ for His Church. (1 Thess. 4:16-17, Titus 2:13)

  14. The Millennial Reign of Christ - Jesus will rule on earth for 1,000 years. (Rev. 20:1-6)
